- Choose prototype electrolytic capacitors as much as possible.
- The capacitance deviation of electrolytic capacitors is generally larger and will not seriously affect the normal operation of the circuit, so capacitors with slightly larger or smaller capacitance can be used as substitutes. But it cannot be used in frequency division circuits, S-correction circuits, oscillation circuits, and delay circuits. The capacitance should be as consistent as possible with the calculation requirements. In some filtering networks, the capacity of electrolytic capacitors also requires very accuracy, with an error of less than ±0.3-0.5.
- The withstand voltage requirement must be met, and the selected withstand voltage value should be equal to or greater than the original value.
- Non polarized electrolytic capacitors are generally replaced by non-polar electrolytic capacitors. If there is no other way, two polarized capacitors with twice the capacity can be used in reverse series instead. The method is to connect the positive poles of the two polarized electrolytic capacitors (or their two negative poles).
